Day 12 - Verona, Italy - June 22nd

Today we drove to Verona. Megan and I were excited to see it. We loved the 2013 Romeo and Juliet movie filmed in Verona, and it was cool to see places from the movie. We saw Romeo’s house and Juliet’s house. We saw some lovely plazas and the old castle. And we ate gelato next to a fountain. It was perfect. We then drove to our hotel in Venice. It’s not in the water city; we’ll spend the whole day in the water city tomorrow. Megan and I chose to have a quiet relaxing evening in the hotel. We did walk to the nearby mall for fanta and water. We video chatted with Josh and Dave for a bit and then wrote Mike an email.
