2007 - Asia - Day 3 - Guilin, China

This morning we had another western breakfast at 8:00. We left the hotel around 9:00 to go to our boat that would take us up the Li River. This is such a beautiful part of China! All the rice fields and incredible mountains are so pretty. The cruise up the river was so spectacular. It is definitely my favorite so far. I took about 65 pictures on the river trip. Absolutely beautiful! The weather was perfect. After the cruise, we shopped at the market for 30 minutes. I bought T-shirts for my kids and a silk robe and bag for me. Also some silk PJ’s for Christa. We then drove through the beautiful countryside to the Reed Flute Cave. I was quite amazed at how big and beautiful this cave was. I really enjoyed it. We then came back to the hotel for dinner and many went off for a massage. I’m choosing to go to bed early since we have to leave by 6:00 a.m. for our flight to Wuhan in the morning.
